John Wilson DVD Stalking Summer Rivers
With the help of superb graphics and underwater footage, John Wilson entertains the viewer by switching techniques and species along five of Britain's most beautiful and productive locations.
1. The upper reaches of the Great Ouse above Bedford.
2. His local river Wensum near Norwich.
3. Hampshire's remarkable River Test.
4 The upper, diminutive reaches of Norfolk's River Yare.
5. The famous 'Testwood' salmon fishery near Southampton.
In an effort to beat the conditions at hand and secure a fat chub, John climbs and casts from 20 feet up a huge alder tree. He then wades deep into a gravel run where he catches perch from beneath his feet, having initially lost a big barbel which shed the hook. John shows you how to stalk quietly using stealth and observation and, by wearing polarising glasses, catch both his target species, barbel and chub. John uses a variety of summer methods and simple baits from some of the most overgrown stretches of river any angler is likely to encounter.
Both entertaining and instructional, this DVD will captivate the improver and expert alike.
