Tiger Woods won his fourth US Masters title with a sudden death play-off victory over Chris DiMarco, rolling in a 15-foot birdie putt at the first extra hole. Woods had bogeyed the final two holes in regulation play to give DiMarco his chance, then slammed the door in his fellow American's face with a magnificent birdie. And, as he slipped on the green jacket, the 29-year-old - whose victory put him back at the top of the world rankings - dedicated the win to his sick father.

Meanwhile, Englishman Luke Donald rounded-off a good week's work in spectacular style, playing the last eight holes in six under par to tie for third with South African Retief Goosen.
